This week is one of those times when we have no obvious theme—just some photos of the things going on here. We hope you’ll enjoy these!
The work on the new boys dorm is still progressing. The outside walls are now getting several coats of paint.
“He does not refuse any good thing to those who do what is right. LORD Almighty, how happy are those who trust in you!” (Psalm 84:11-12)
We were blessed to host the parents of our new volunteer couple: Matt & Audrey Pound. They joined us to visit our Home of Grace, and I asked everyone to say “Dave”, not “cheese”, for this portrait.
“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” (Gal 3:26 KJV)
During our regular monthly meeting with staff & house parents, Pastor Niran (a new foundation board member) started us off with some Bible-study.
“Christ’s message in all its richness must live in your hearts. Teach and instruct one another with all wisdom.” (Coloss 3:16)
Shirley always loves to teach our college girls how to cook and bake in our tiny kitchen. Here she’s showing Ping and Tiida how to prepare spaghetti & salad!
“Your wife will be like a fruitful vine in your home,” (Psalms 128:3)
I love to see everyone (else) hard at work! As I walked into the office one morning , I found Shirley, Audrey, and Matt all busy with their work!
“Be happy. Grow in Christ…Live in harmony and peace.” (2 Cor 13:11)
Our new volunteer staffers, Matt and Audrey, joined our meeting and got a first-taste of the many & varied household, logistical, and ministry items discussed each month.
“So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit.” (Gal 6:9 The Message)
Please take time to pray for all the children & families in our care.
Pray also that our new workers, Matt & Audrey, can quickly find a good match (by God’s leading) of their spiritual gifts to our ministry needs.
“The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” (Psalm 32:8)
Grace & Peace to you in Christ,
