“We are always doing all we can” to help ourselves by starting & developing various projects within our foundation. One important project is our startup of a Moringa Tea business. The tea which we grow, harvest, package, and sell, has a potential to become a profitable small-business that will roll 100% of profit back into our orphan ministry. This week we can show some of the activity, and the busy workers.
Here Gawley, and Audrey look happy as they hand-package individual tea bags with our special mixture of moringa leaf-tea and spices.
“Some good comes from all work. Nothing but talk leads only to being poor.” (Prov 14:23)
Several of our house mothers spent a day in our tea workshop as they carefully added the right mixture of tea-leaves and various spices into tea-bags and packaged them to sell. (L-R: Nidt, Audrey, Pikun, and Nice)
“Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit.” (Colossians 1:10 )
After the tea-bags are ready, we (Pikun and Nice here) use a vacuum sealer machine to ensure the tea stays fresh.
You can also see (under her hand) that we’ve started to package and sell our special rice-berry rice too.
“Never rely on what you think you know. Remember the LORD in everything you do, and he will show you the right way.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Last week, our families setup a booth in an outdoor market. They were able to sell some of our rice.
“God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him…” (Hebrews 6:10)
Meanwhile, another seasonal local crop, strawberries, has ripened and there are many roadside stands selling the sweet berries.
The Psalmist wrote, “ I grasp and cling to whatever you tell me; God, don’t let me down! I’ll run the course you lay out for me if you’ll just show me how.” (Psalm 119:31-32 The Message)
Please pray that, for all of the dear children, the families, and our staff, God will keep our eyes open to see the wonderful treasures in His Word.
Grace and peace be with you in Christ,
