New works
June 6th, 2010Hello dear Friends,
This week we have a few photos showing our most newest ministries, and some recent activities.
At our newest orphan home, Home of Promise, all four of our orphan girls have started school and are learning to live to live together as a Christian family. We are permitted to care for up to 5 orphan children in each small home, so we are watching to see what orphan girl God may add to this family. Pray that God will allow us to help the house parents lead all of the girls into new life in Christ.
At our new Happy Hearts Dorm, the hill tribe children are settled into the rented home and have started attending the local school. Their Christian house parents have been busy setting up a safe and comfortable home for then seven children. Pray that all the children will thrive at school and learn about Jesus in the home.
A couple weeks ago we told about the hill tribe widow whose village house had been destroyed by fire. We have sent her some emergency aid and will look for ways to help her rebuild her life.
Thank you for all of your prayers and support.
May God bless you greatly, and may He open doors for you to share those blessings.

PS—Tomorrow we plan to post some “special needs” on our web page.
Please click the link below and spread the word about how people can have an immediate impact.
At Home of Promise, the girls show off some new clothes. L-R: Paula, Hanna, Sarah, and Laura.
At Happy Hearts Dorm, the children are already working on their studies every evening.
This Lahu ladies house was burned in a fire cause by some exposed wires (yes, there was electricity in the hut)
Notice the fire even destroyed her bicycle (in the right lower edge of photo).
The lady is staying in this shed until she can find some way to rebuild her small wood & bamboo house.
Inside the shed, she poses with some of the food and supplies we were able to buy for her.
