New Life and Growth Apr 25/2010
April 25th, 2010Hello Dear friends,
Late spring is a time for new life and growth at our orphan homes. All of the families are starting new self-help projects and continuing to develop gardens and agriculture at their rented homes. As we’ve shown in past weeks, the homes are active with many varied projects to raise food for the homes and, with God’s blessing, generate additional produce and items to sell in the local markets.
Pray that our house parents can find many teaching opportunities to draw the children into thinking about God, our creator and life-giver.
Pray that every family will enjoy success and good harvests, and that God will get all the praise and thanksgiving.
Pray that our families will grow in the knowledge and wisdom of God’s Word.

At Home of Grace, Grit is waving from their new vegetable garden and planting space.
At Home of Comfort, there are many newborn ducks and chickens.
These beautiful chicks were being gathered under their mother as we watched.
Here Samuel shows us one of the five baby rabbits born just a few hours earlier.
It’s also time to start growing fish, so the fish pond at Home of Comfort is already filled with 700 baby catfish.
