Hot Weather Apr-3/2010
April 2nd, 2010Dear friends,
The temperatures are over one-hundred degrees most days and the scorching sun is drying everything out. So, it’s a good excuse to go swimming. Our orphan families use these summer days for many family outings and picnics. Also, last week we hosted a team of mission-volunteers from Okinawa, who entertained all of our families with a two-day VBS at our office location.
Pray that all of our orphan children and house parents have a safe and healthy summer.
Pray that Shirley & I will have safe travel next week as we drive far north to minister with our friends in Nan.
Grace and peace to you,
Dave & Shirley Callahan
From Home of Grace, Jason and John are enjoying the cool water in a shallow river.
Joshua, Raq, Isaiah, and John, from Home of Blessing, went swimming in a mountain stream near their village.
The children from Home of Grace attended a church summer-camp near the beach in Pattaya southern Thailand.
They had their first experience of ocean and really enjoyed it.
Phillip caught this fish in a farm pond — He was proud to catch such a large one!
This is the visiting mission team and all of our families posing for a happy group photo.
