Tidbits Nov 1, 2009
November 1st, 2009Hello Dear Friends,
This week we include assorted tidbits:
Shirley and I have been busy with preparations to visit the US in just two weeks. We’re been working here almost 5 years now. We notice that, more and more often, we struggle to remember English words! It’s not just because we’re grandparents. I promise. The sign (below) is common for Chiang Mai. So, if we sometimes choose the wrong English word, or get the spelling wrong, give us some grace for the mistake.

Nathan and David found time to use this night-vision gear to hunt frogs after dark. They look like real adventurers!

Because the photos were popular last week, here is another set for Phillip, at Home of Grace
On his first day in Chiang Mai he looked shy and cautious; unsure about his new life.

Now he is beaming with love, joy, and happy confidence. May God bless him and keep him safe.
It’s worth noting that Phillip is one of 4 boys at Home of Grace who have no one to be their sponsor.

God bless you with peace and joy,
Dave & Shirley Callahan
