Cool Nights 11/15/2009
November 15th, 2009Hello Dear friends,
November is a time of our best weather in Northern Thailand. The nights are very cool, yet the days are sunny and warm.
The sky is deep blue and cloudless most every day. It is good weather for outdoor activities, and we have many tourists this time of the year.
Our orphan families have taken advantage of a short school break, and the good weather. Home of Blessing went for a mountain camping trip and Home of Comfort enjoyed a lakeside picnic. Please pray that, as the nights turn from cool to downright cold, we will have warm blankets and children’s clothes for all of those villagers who need them.
Blessings to you,
Dave & Shirley Callahan
This photo was taken on a chilly mountain morning, at first light.

The kids from Home of Blessing stayed warm in their pup-tent. L-R are Timothy, Raq, and John.

On a warm afternoon, Samuel, Nathan, and Jonathan mug for a photo beside the lake.

After a picnic lunch, Nathan couldn’t resist a barefoot tree climbing adventure.

The boys at Home of Blessing – several are showing off their traditional style shirt and pants.
