Christmas Cards Oct 18, 2009
October 18th, 2009Hello to all our friends!
This month (October) there is a 2-week school break. We’ve had time to help all the children make Christmas cards. They love the activity and have made some unique and beautiful cards. Each home, parents and children, came on a separate day to make the cards and then pose for portrait-pictures. The school break will also be a time for some of the children to visit their home villages.
Pray that all the children and house parents have safe travel and good visits in the mountain villages this month.
Blessings in Christ,
Dave & Shirley Callahan
Here Shirley is helping John to glue some decorations on one of his cards.

Abel, Jacob, and Jonathan, from Home of Comfort, did a great job on their cards with colored tape, string, and crayons.

The entire family from Home of Blessing came to take pictures and have fun making cards.

These are a few of the cards designed and made by the children (without much help or coaching from us).
We did help them write a greeting on the inside, in English.
