New Sign 9-20-2009
September 20th, 2009Hello dear friends,
This week we received and hung our new sign on the fence in front of our combination office/apartment home.
Because we are located on a busy highway, we ordered the sign to help visitors find our office.
We should be hard-to-miss now. Our new office helper, Aom is on the left and Shirley is standing at the right.
I doubt it was because of the new sign, but this un-invited visitor showed up at our back door.
Not all of the children living in our homes are orphans. Each set of house parents have children of their own.
This sweet little girl is Raq (means love)—She is the daughter of Prajuab and Oranee at Home of Blessing.
This photo is from an afternoon when the children were helping work in the rice-paddy.
A supporter invited our children to draw designs for a logo competition. Samuel, from Home of Comfort, came up
with this design, and it was chosen, from all of the entries, to be the official logo for the organization!
Though all of the children are talented and creative with art, Samuel deserves the special recognition!
At Home of Grace, the children spend a sunny afternoon helping their housemother working in the garden.
Although it’s still rainy season, there is plenty of hot sun most mornings to dry things out. Then afternoon rain.
We need your continued prayers as we try to have a Christian impact in this country, and in the lives of our
Orphan families. Pray that God will bless and protect and multiply our humble Christian homes for orphaned children.
