Police visit Jul, 27, 2009
July 28th, 2009Dear friends,
This week we’ve been active with several important meetings, including a couple surprise visits by government police. Two groups, representing the Thai versions of the CIA and the FBI came to our door about a week apart. The Thai government is checking on all the foundations located in Chiang Mai. They suspect that many are either no longer in operation, or they are not really doing the work that they claim. So, it is God’s blessing that each time police came to our office, they were very impressed with our orphan ministries promised to give us a good report. One officer even promised his assistance should we ever need help. Thank you Lord.
Grace and peace to you,
Dave & Shirley Callahan
At Home of Grace, the children eat the corn harvested from their small garden.
You need a big garden to keep up with their appetites!
David, at Home of Comfort, has already learned to use hand tools to repair the bicycles.
This year we placed the children into a better school. Though tuition is much more expensive, we believe it’s worth it.
The children really like their new school. Samuel is proud and handsome in his school uniform.
At Home of Grace, little (and shy) John, shows off his new school uniform. What a sweet young boy whom God has let us help.
