Hello Dear friends,
Today we’ll share a few recent photos of the girls in our orphan homes.
The girls from our Home of Promise joined Tiida (one of our college dorm students) to relax in the shaded grass and eat some sweet fruit from a tree in our yard. Laura was in the back, and Sarah, Paula, Tiida, and Hannah are in the foreground.
Rachael and Rhoda, from Home of Faith each won a medal while competing in a big track & field game-day at their school…they’re cute and FAST!
“So I run straight toward the goal in order to win the prize, which is God’s call through Christ Jesus to the life above.” (Philippians 3:14)
At their rented house, the girls learned to make pretty artificial leaves and flowers from pieces of wire & fabric. “Mother’s Day” was celebrated this week in Thailand (on the queen’s birthday). The girls were making flowers for gifts to mothers.
The fruit of the girls effort was a bouquet of beautiful flowers, a few of which they presented to Shirley along with a sweet prayer.
“in the countryside the flowers are in bloom. This is the time for singing,,.” (Song of Solomon 2:12)
Our rainy season brings out plenty of bugs, and here Ruth looks unsure about the big green mantis.
As always, we ask you to remember how the power of God, flowing through your prayers, blesses and protects the orphan children.
May God bless you to be growing ever more faithful & fruitful in your prayer life.
“…your prayer has been heard, and your gifts to the poor have been noticed by God!” (Acts 10:31)
Our love, and God’s grace and peace to you in Christ,
Shirley & I have scheduled a visit to the US this fall: Arrive on November 13th, and fly back to Thailand on December 2nd.
Please pray about giving us an opportunity to visit your church or group to report on the mission work.
