Hello dear friends,

We’ve all been quite busy, working on many things at once. But, we give thanks to God that, by his Grace, we’ve enjoyed sweet & peaceful harmony in all the hard work. “Does it mean anything to you that we are brothers in the Lord, sharing the same Spirit? … Then make me truly happy by loving each other and agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, working together with one heart and mind and purpose.” (Philip 23:1-2 TLB)

At Home of Faith, Eva our summer intern, helped Matt & Audrey organize a special art & craft day for the girls during school-break. Eva plans to visit and provide the same activity for each of our family homes. “Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.” (Gal 6:5 The Message)

Here is their finished art project: The children made a 3D poster of their home and the surrounding neighborhood. That’s Eva 2nd from left. “honor your father and mother; and love your neighbor as you love yourself.’ ” (Matt 19:19)

During the art-day at our new Home of Light, Shirley & I had time to talk with the new boys. Here we are with little David on the left, and Mickey on the right in this photo-poster. “Teach them [God’s commands] to your children. Talk about them when you are sitting at home, when you are out walking, at bedtime, and before breakfast!” (Mal 3:16)

Here Shirley & Joy (our social worker) help the girls decorate scripture posters with colored pens & pencils. It’s an activity they really enjoy, and an opportunity for them to express creativity. You may notice that we also a had cookie snack! “I have chosen the faithful way. I have set Your Law in front of me.” (Psalm 119:30)

This is an example of the starting page (on left) and one of the finished/colored sheets on the right. “Your Word have I hid in my heart, [memorized] that I may not sin against You.” (Psalm 119:11 para)

Some missionary friends asked us to help provide clothing for refugees from Burma. On the right side of this poster is a news photo of a poor family making the long mountain trek into Thailand. On the left-hand side our friends stand next to a truck loaded with warm blankets we donated to help those desperate refugees. “He [God] … shows love to the foreigners living among you and gives them food and clothing.” (Deut 10:18)

Meanwhile, we ask you to keep praying for little Benjamin. He’s had a 2nd surgery to correct a problem with his dialysis shunt. The little guy has been through a lot of painful procedures and he & his family need some “prayer warriors”. “But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings.” (Mal 4:2)

Remember that you are well loved in our ministry and, “Whenever we pray for you, we always begin by giving thanks to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Col 1:3)

Grace and peace to you in Jesus,
