Our Home of Faith family has moved into a larger rented house. They had been pretty crowded in their previous house, so this is an improvement that makes the whole family happy.
Here a couple of the girls are scrubbing chairs and helping to clean things outside at the new house… both inside and out, everything was cleaned. “Children, it is your Christian duty to obey your parents always, for that is what pleases God. Parents, do not irritate your children, or they will become discouraged.” (Col 3:20-21)
House mother, Nice, donned a dust-mask when she cleaned dust from things in their outdoor kitchen. She made sure that the new house was cleaned and ready for the family. “She keeps an eye on everyone in her household, and keeps them all busy and productive. Her children respect and bless her; her husband joins in with words of praise:” (Prov 31:27-28 The Message)
Joshua and Barnabus also volunteered to help with the cleanup. Here Raina is trying to matchup pairs of shoes that were all tossed into a big box for the move…it looks confusing! “Now all that I know is hazy and blurred, but then I will see everything clearly, just as clearly as God sees into my heart right now.” (1 Cor 13:12) Despite the move, which took several days to complete, the girls still had to attend their classes at school. After school, Debbie, Rhoda, and Rebecca enjoyed a fruit snack before they did homework. “I have provided all kinds of grain and all kinds of fruit for you to eat;” (Gen 1:29) The day after the move was finished, the girls found their pretty dresses to wear for Sunday worship. (L-R: Rose, Rhoda, Rebecca, Raina, Ruth, Rachael, and Debbie) “You can find out how much you love God’s children– your brothers and sisters in the Lord– by how much you love and obey God..” (1 John 5:2) Please pray for: Our children as we relocate this family into a bigger house. Changes can be both exciting, and unsettling. “Reverence for the LORD gives confidence and security to a man and his family.” (Prov 14:26)
