This past couple weeks, our activities have stretched all the way from the mountains in Northern Thailand, to the Andaman Sea in the far south.
So we have a real “mixed bag” of pictures to share.
We visited our “Abundant Grace” dorm in Mae Chaem, and stopped along the way to see the beautiful waterfall on the mountain. Here Shirley, Grace, and Audrey were happy to be seen close to the cool water.
“let us outdo each other in being helpful and kind to each other and in doing good.” (Hebrews 10:24)
“Then the Angel showed me Water–of–Life River, crystal bright. It flowed from the Throne of God” (Revelation 22:1 The Message)
The family from our Home of Faith were especially blessed to go down south for a few day to visit family and participate in a church gathering. (A special sponsor gift made this possible) This is the first time most of the family have ever seen the ocean.
“God thunders across the waters, Brilliant, his voice and his face, streaming brightness–– God, across the flood waters.” (Psalm 29:3)
Little Rachael is so small that it wasn’t hard to bury her with sand. All of the family were happy there; these days will linger as sweet memories.
“Remember how the LORD your God has blessed you in everything that you have done. He has taken care of you … and you have had everything you needed.” (Deut 2:7)
The long drive to reach the ocean took about 12 hours…but the family stopped often, and they also spent time in a waterfall pool.
The weather has been quite hot, so the family enjoyed playing in the ocean. It was quite the opposite experience just a month ago when the house fathers were trying hard to stay out of the water while crossing a mountain stream.
“People with integrity walk safely, but those who follow crooked paths will slip and fall.” (Proverbs 10:9)
The good work of managing, promoting, and serving in this mission keeps us very busy six days each week; please pray for all of us to be blessed by God with health & strength & godly wisdom.
“I will be glad and rejoice because of your constant love. You see my suffering; you know my trouble.” (Psalms 31:7)
Grace and peace be with you in Christ,
