It’s been quite a while since we’ve sent our weekly newsletter in this fashion, but we don’t want to get into a rut and use the same format every week. So, here is one of our weekly note in our “old-fashioned” format. Here are a few random events & scenes from recent days.
At HOME OF GRACE the boys (Mark, John, and Peter) were proud to win medals in the foot-race competition at their school. “Don’t you know that the runners in a stadium all race, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way to win the prize.” 1-Cor 9:24
Meanwhile, here at our office compound, I caught Shirley & Cherry just as they were cleaning up our small kitchen after a meal one evening. You can see it’s already getting dark outside…the days are long and filled with work & activities.
At lunch time one day, I caught several of our college dorm students having lunch with our “Maebaan”…L-R are: Gawley, Joshua, LooWan, and Tiida. (If you are wondering, “Maebaan” is the title for a household helper). “and they had a meal together before the Lord.” Exodus 24:11
On another morning, while the college students were on a break from classes, they helped me harvest and process several pounds of fresh Moringa leaves for tea.
Finally, for this week, we can leave you with a beautiful sunrise. God is so good, every day! “Praise him from sunrise to sunset! For he is high above the nations; his glory is far greater than the heavens.” Psalm 113:3-4
Please remember to pray for all the children & families under our care. May God bless you all with every kindness and proof of His everlasting love, Dave & Shirley Callahan Click here to see more at our website Click here to see short videos
