Callahan Corner: Dec 28, 2014
On Saturday (27th) we plan to travel with all our families up into a remote mountain village—our very first foundation “mission trip” to share the Gospel and help the poor villagers. So, next week we hope to share scenes from that important event. But this week, we want to share a few more photos from our Christmas celebrations.
This “stitched-together” pair of photos shows all our house parents in a Christmas choir during our Christmas program.
“Is that a joyous choir I hear? No, it is the Lord himself exulting over you in happy song.” (Zephaniah 3:17)
This was our “international Christmas choir” made up of mission workers from many countries…all singing together at our church here in Chiang Mai.
“All nations will remember the LORD. From every part of the world they will turn to him; all races will worship him.” (Psalm 22:27)
These happy faces of all our children & house parents show how much we all enjoyed our Christmas time together.
So, one last time, from all our children: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Shirley and I pray that now and into next year, as Paul prayed for the Ephesian believers (pardon my edit) : “That is why, ever since (we) heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and of the love you have for Christians everywhere, (we) have never stopped thanking God for you. (we) pray for you constantly, asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you wisdom to see clearly and really understand who Christ is and all that he has done for you. (We) pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can see something of the future he has called you to share.” (Ephesians 1:15-18)
Grace and peace to you in Christ,
