Hello dear friends,
Last week we shared a photo of girls from Home of Faith with their track medals. This week we can celebrate with Joshua; he’s one of our college dorm students. Last week his rowing team competed in a national competition to find the best team to represent Thailand. His university team finished third overall, and won several medals during the week-long event. “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.” (1 Cor 9:24)
Not every competitor can win medals, but as the Home of Faith girls show, everyone can have a good time.
Tiida, another of our college dorm students, let me take her photo as she was about to leave for classes one morning. She isn’t required to wear this official school blazer & skirt every day…most days a more casual dress code applies.
Thinking about how our rice-mill land is being transformed by adding the new boys dorm, I thought you might appreciate these “before and after” views taken from the narrow road in front of our paddy-land. The upper photo shows the land as we were about to build the bridge across the water-canal and onto the land. “For we belong to Christ if we keep on trusting Him to the end just as we trusted Him at first.” (Hebrews 3:14)
Please pray about giving us an opportunity to visit your church or group to report on the mission work.
“I (we) have much more to say to you, but I don’t want to write it with pen and ink. For I (we) hope to see you soon, and then we will talk face to face. Peace be with you. Your friends here send you their greetings. Please give my (our) personal greetings to each of our friends there.” (3 john 1:13-15)
Be happy; grow in Christ,
